[RenRose] 2/8 Practice Recap

Discussed:

  *   Linda shared a flyer handout she resurrected from days past and updated.  This is for handing out until we have something different, that will send people to the website, and hopefully get us gigs or recruits.
  *   Linda asked for people's opinions on what they thought was our best show dance (from an audience perspective).  The list included (sorry I didn't write them all down): Valentine, Domino 5, Sherrif's Ride, & Coalface.
  *   Stewart put out a request for any and all photos that people have of the team.  And I may not have said it at the time, but I'm writing this, so I'm adding:   A focus is requested for interesting backgrounds (ie: bridges, and city landmarks, or just pretty trees), faces, and lots of smiles.  Photos that evoke fun, travel, inclusiveness, and friendship.  These photos can be in or out of kit, singing or dancing, with or without a drink in hand.  Please send as high a quality image file to her at renrose at stewarthall.info<mailto:renrose at stewarthall.info>.
  *   Tomorrow, Feb 9, there is a free English Country Dance at the Burlingame Water Tower Dance Hall-8936 SW 17th Ave.  Bridgetown will be doing a demonstration during the break, roughly 9pm.  If you are new and wish to dance, there is a first time lesson before the dance starts at roughly 7:15pm, however, being morris dancers, you already know many of the moves, and all the dancers are taught before you dance them.
