Hi Brian & Linda,
Circling back via your direct channels and the team channels. Trying to get
a read re: whether Renegade Rose will be participating in NWFL 2024. Yes/no?
NWFL programming team is in the process of wrapping up the participant list.
I've also had discussions with them re: programming slots for Morris. When I
get the complete tally of participating teams, I'll finalize the performance
slots and get everyone in-sync.
Appreciate a reply back ASAP.
Thx,
PC

Subject: NW Folklife 2024 - Morris Participation
Hello All,
Checking in re: your level of interest in Morris participation at NW
Folklife 2024.
Mossybacks, Sound & Fury, Side of the Tide, and SeaWitch Morris (new women's
side in Seattle) have submitted applications. I'll be there as well to at
least do jigs; may be that a fuller side from Vancouver also participates.
Below is my list of who's missing from the registration roster. All contacts
listed are on the Bcc. If you want participate, it's still possible to
apply. Just a matter of completing the online form thru this back door:
app.nwfolklife.org/artist-signup?event=2
<http://app.nwfolklife.org/artist-signup?event=2>
I'm with NWFL staff next week to discuss performance planning. Helpful if
you can provide a yes/no/maybe response to me by Fri, 16-Feb.
Revised deadline to complete the registration process is Thu, 29-Feb.
If you're no longer the contact for your side or your side is no longer
active, please make me aware.
Cheers!
Peter C.

Subject: New Folklife Morris Coordinator for 2023
Hello all
I'm letting you know that I am stepping away from the Morris dancers
manager hat (what we know as goat wrangling), for the upcoming festival.
I've done this job for a bunch of years and it's time to give someone else
the pleasure.
Peter, of VMM, who lives locally in Kirkland (?), has graciously
accepted my request of him to take on the job. His credentials for this are
excellent as; *he has experience with the Folklife programming people, *is a
super competent guy, *he's WAY taller than me, *his voice can boom-you'll
hear and see him easier *he has that bladder thingie to keep folks in line.
I know he'll be great.
Hope you're all enjoying the start of 'the holidays' and I look forward to
seeing people at the next thing we're all at.
Warm Regards,
Audrey
