many personal messages that i'd like to acknowledge here and for which I am
extremely grateful. Please forward as some of you did my original message.
This was a surprise - the extent of the coronary artery disease. They
converted a mid-left coronary artery from 100% occlusion to 0% with the
insertion of a 2.5 x 38mm stent inflated by balloon at 12atm.... I feel
very different as a result, my awareness of my heart is significantly
diminished, the constant heartache gone. I've yet to test to see if I am as
breathless as before, but I'm expected to resume normal physical activity.
So see you at Morris practice next week...

For those interested - from MyChart:
CONCLUSIONS:
 1. Successful IVUS-guided PCI from the ostial LCx into the mid OM1 branchwith
a 2.5 mm x 38 mm Onyx Frontier DES, converting 100% occlusion to 0% with
distal TIMI II flow.
 2. Severe diffuse coronary atherosclerosis of the small mid to distal LAD with
mild non-obstructive disease elsewhere.
